Working with Kyle over the past 4 months has been an incredible and transformational experience, both from a performance and knowledge perspective. His approach to coaching and customizing a program that fits your goals is simply unparalleled. The value you get from Kyle between the weekly check-ins, video calls, and open line of communication truly shows how much he cares about every single client.
In just 4 months preparing for my meet, I was able to increase my squat 60lbs, bench 40lbs, and deadlift 50lbs. My time with Kyle was for 6 months and wanted to go longer but income restricted that. Kyle has been in the online coaching space for so long and you can tell how when you hire him. He is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. He uses science to back up programming and nutrition. During my time with him, I lost 20lbs. The diet felt effortless we went slowly which I enjoyed. He helps you ingrain good habits like being consistent with training and nutrition. He does not overcomplicate the training and does a good job stringing training blocks together. He doesn’t put in BS useless stuff into your program. You can be confident if it is programmed that it is beneficial and you should be doing it. Overall in the sea of saturated online coaches I 1000% recommend him. His prices are affordable and definitely worth it. He knows his stuff and works with you. If you have an injury he helps you work around it. Again he is knowledgeable, affordable, and lastly he is strong as hell!
Working with Kyle has been an amazing experience! While working with Kyle I've lost 30 lbs and about 7 inches off of my waist, while still improving my strength in every exercise. The thing I enjoyed most about this experience is that we moved at a steady pace, so I never felt burned out or unmotivated. We continued to see progress week after week and made adjustments only when he saw necessary, which always worked out great. Kyle definitely knows what he is doing!
December 2018 would make a year since I have been working with Kyle Hunt and let’s just say it’s one of the best investments I’ve ever made. I contacted him after my first meet last year because after watching his YouTube videos, following him on social media and interacting with him through email, I figured he would be a key component in making me stronger and more knowledgeable in the sport of powerlifting.
Well, the proof is in the pudding. My 1st meet numbers were 242.5lbs squat, 198.4lbs bench, and a 352.7 deadlift and my current numbers are 325lbs Squat, 245lbs bench, and 415lbs deadlift. Might I add, the numbers keep rising. Kyle has a wealth of knowledge backed by science and is good at explaining his reasoning behind his course of action. He also works with you to optimize results while making things as convenient as possible for both parties. He is big on communication, so the more information you give him, the more he can help you.
I’ve personally come a long way with lifting in general. I struggle with Crohn’s Disease, so some days are harder than others, but when you have a coach who practices what he preaches (#Consistency), it pushes you to do what you can instead of making excuses. Kyle Hunt’s coaching is the perfect investment for anyone who wants to make progress and learn as you go.
I have worked with Kyle for over a year now, when I started I was sitting around 145lbs my three lifts were 255s 250b 335d. I always had a hard time gaining weight and I had pains in my lower back. After a little over a year working with Kyle I now have a 370s 285b and 400d all at about 145lbs (Competition weight) still. Kyle helped me get ready for my first meet and coached me through 2 meets, all my attempts he selected for me were on point and he encourages you to push yourself to the next level. He helped me realize that staying in the 145lb class is not where I will perform at my best long term, helping me start to work my way into the 163lb class. Kyle actually understands a structured and scientifically proven approach - he is not some "Bro Lifter" that you will be getting a cookie cutter program from.
Kyle is a great coach with proven results. He may not be the biggest name in the coaching universe, but he is an elite level coach in my opinion - about as good as it gets. Signing up with Kyle will not be something you regret, you will get stronger, you will get healthier, you will LEARN a lot.
I contacted Kyle to get me in shape for my first powerlifting meet and let’s just say he did an awesome job. When I started I was 181 pounds and we made the push to get me in the 165lb weight class. On the meet day, I weighed in at 162 pounds and was in the best shape of my life. Before I started at 181 pounds I was only bench pressing 245lbs and by meet day 20 pounds lighter, I was able to bench 280lbs! I would have never thought I could be stronger 20 pounds lighter but Kyle made it happen from nutrition to training everything was spot on. He definitely knows his stuff!
Kyle Hunt truly changed my life. When I decided to begin preparing for my first physique show, I decided to hire Kyle due to his scientific-based approach to training and nutrition, but within a short period of time, I discovered Kyle’s strong ability to make training/nutrition flexible to your schedule and a fun experience. Along with being honest and caring, Kyle opened my mind to capabilities I had that I didn’t know of before. I wouldn’t have hired anyone else to help guide my 40-pound transformation. I purchased Kyle's bench press specialization program because my bench has been pretty much stagnant for around a year or so. I have been training seriously for around 3 years, so progress is not as easy as it used to be, especially for bench. By the end of the 10 weeks of this program, I added 20 lbs to my bench, and could not be happier! I first got in touch with Kyle because I wanted a custom meet prep program. However, I tweaked my lower back in the middle of the first half of the program. Unfortunately, I had to drop out of the meet but, Kyle helped me re-evaluate my program while taking care of myself. He customized an upper-body program which would run for about 4 weeks and helped me get a 5lb PR on my competition bench and 15lbs on my touch and go bench. I was completely frustrated with myself because I couldn't compete but with Kyle's coaching, I was able to change my focus on something else while taking care of my lower back. Along with helping me hit some PR's, he helped me realize some weak points on my bench and my squat. What I appreciate more during my time being coached by him is the patience he had and helping me regain focus on my goals.
